The Ochre Gold story began over 15 years ago as a vision to create a sustainable agricultural production on our farming enterprise and has evolved into both that as well as producing a range of natural and quality emu oil products to benefit the consumer.
Ochre Gold is a family run business and thus has as itÂs mission to produce high quality products at affordable prices. The qualifications of the owners of Ochre Gold are that they have a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and a Diploma of Farm Management and therefore have an extensive knowledge and most importantly a passion for primary production and the marketing of the resulting products. To help put back into the industry we have been on the executive of the South Australian Emu Farmers Association as well as being on the steering committee for implementing the Code of Practice for Emu Farming in South Australia.
As the Ochre Gold business incorporates both the farming of the emus through to the marketing of the emu oil products it ensures both that there is quality control and keeps the prices to a minimum as it means that there is no middle man. From "paddock to product" is our specialty and your reward.
Ochre Gold prides itself in being the inaugural company to produce a range of emu oil enriched products in South Australia and has continued to expand itÂs range to meet the needs of our customers. The Ochre Gold range includes skin and hair care products as well as massage oils and rubs.
For your Pet Care needs we have a range of products that are beneficial to maintaining your animals coat and controlling any skin conditions or muscle and joint problems they may have.
The production of the Ochre Gold range of products is clean and green due to the farming and production techniques used in Australia. It also is the ideal place to farm the emus as they are being grown in the Mallee region which is their natural habitat.
