A little London Tavern in the heart of Adelaide.
As with all good 'locals', the Historian's Bar is its heart and soul. Located slap bang in the middle of the downstairs area, the bar greets you as soon as you walk through the old stone portal off Coromandel Place
Prop up the bar, take your drinks and stand around one of our kegs, or pull up a chair to a table. A bit like the bar in the TV hit sitcom 'Cheers', really. And with equally fascinating characters.
The Historian pulls a crowd from its richly eclectic neighbourhood; talk stocks and bonds with the city 'suits', argue politics with the public service mandarins, sip cocktails with retailers, or chardonnays with the 'creatives' in the architectural, advertising or PR industries.
